The model 131 Flow Switch is suitable for setpoints between 2.5 m/s and 12.5 m/s, with a max flow rate up to 17.5 m/s.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Better than 1% set-point repeatibility
Users can expect a set-point repeatability performance better than 1% on all configurations with some configurations being significantly better
- More than 35 years experience in the field
Installed in a wide range of applications from nuclear power plants to offshore oil rigs, the Performance Series’ long experience in the field offers customers the reassurance that they can be relied upon to survive the test of time in the harshest environments.

Vane Operated Flow Switch is designed to provide protection and control in ducted air systems in flammable atmospheres.
Its main application is to detect air flow in HVAC systems located in harsh environments and/or hazardous area.
The sensing element is a freely pivoted, counter-weighted vane which at its rest position lies at right angles to the direction of flow. The action of the flow is to pivot the vane and operate a microswitch via a dustproof seal.
The sensing element is also available in noble materials to withstand with NACE applications.
